The Dunkin’ Donuts Tiny House Highlights a Small but Mighty Experiential Trend

The Dunkin’ Donuts tagline is “America Runs on Dunkin’” and this month the East Coast coffee and snacks chain has created a way for consumers to live it. The Home That Runs on Dunkin’ is a tiny house experience the brand has created in partnership with Airbnb and actress Olivia Wilde, designed to promote sustainable practices while offering a stylish immersion into the chain’s branding and the tiny house-inspired “do more with less” trend. The structure, which is traveling the country, runs on eco-friendly biofuel from 65,000 pounds of used Dunkin’ coffee grounds and features a full-size cedar porch, chef’s kitchen, living room and king-size bed. On top of promoting the program through Airbnb, the brand is offering a 360-degree tour of the tiny house, in addition to all the details of the home’s design and build on a microsite.
