US Open of Surfing Festival Engages Consumers With Pro Athletes, Boomerangs and Athletic Contests

At the Vans US Open of Surfing this year, from July 28-August 5 at Huntington Beach, CA, more than twenty brands activated for a chill, family-friendly crowd of surf, skate and BMX fans. Title sponsor Vans dialed up the creative component with tote bag coloring, local artwork and group jam sessions. And as for the rest, EM spotted plenty of Boomerang contests, surfboard and skateboard giveaways, festival games and pro-athlete signings.
