Maestro Dobel Tequila, a Proximo Spirits’ brand, drove home its “perfect blend of artistry and mastery” messaging at Lollapalooza, August 3-6 in Chicago, with live artists and branded experiences, including an activation in the general admission area and VIP footprint.
In the general admission area, two artists worked side-by-side to create artwork that brought to life a “blend” of both of their styles. In all, four pieces were created on eight-foot by 10-foot canvases right in front of attendees. On the first two days of the festival, the activation featured creations by Johnny Alexander, a California-based artist and Ellen Rutt, a Detroit-based multi-disciplinary artist and designer. For the final two days, it featured creations by Meggs, an Australia-based street and fine artist and Askew One, based in Brooklyn, NY. The four canvases were exhibited in the Village area of the festival.
In the VIP area, Dobel activated a sleek and upscale private bar for festival VIPs, complete with sampling and a dj. They could also step into the Dobel Karaoke Recording Studio stocked with a state-of-the-art Singtrix recording system to create music with friends or individually. Brand ambassadors captured the recording session on the performer’s smartphone for sharing on their social media channels. VIP attendees could also enter “The Perfect Blend” sweepstakes for a chance to win a hand-painted guitar by one of the Dobel featured artists. Agency: Gold N Fish Marketing Group, Armonk, NY.
