Cinema Is Coming Home: A Sony BRAVIA/Blue Pixel Collaboration
Blue Pixel and Sony BRAVIA collaborated on an influencer event to showcase Sony’s latest home theater products that bring cinema to life in the comfort of your own home. The Cinema Is Coming Home campaign began with an innovative teaser, sending a life-size puzzle of Sony’s latest 98” BRAVIA TV to 165 influencers and generating 86 posts, 3.55 million impressions and 116,000 video views – building anticipation for the main event.
The event transformed a Hollywood production lot into an immersive experience for over 300 attendees. Guests entered via a red carpet lined with digital movie posters, creating a glamorous Hollywood vibe perfect for sharing. Inside, attendees enjoyed popcorn-ologists, signature cocktails and an oversized BRAVIA TV for photo opportunities.
The centerpiece of the event were Blue Pixel’s recreations of sets from “The Last of Us”, “The Night Agent” and “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire”. These experiential sets allowed guests to interact with Sony’s audio and video products, creating viral content with trending audio. Influencer-created videos continued to circulate post-event, with a sizzle reel on Sony’s owned social channels released post-event to continue audience engagement.
Guests also crafted custom laser-engraved coasters as a takeaway, reinforcing the “Cinema Is Coming Home” theme. Those who tried out and shared posts about the new Theater U wearable TV speaker received a pair to enjoy at home.
The event achieved impressive results: 8.4 million social impressions, 1.16M video views, and top influencer posts, like Cameron Kodak (500k+ views) and event host Nicque Marina (137k+ views). Sony’s owned social media garnered 1.6 million impressions across 78 posts.
