Youth Marketing: Tiger Targets Kids With Three-market Tour

Hasbro’s Tiger Electronics is targeting pre-teens with its first-ever multimarket tour. The Tiger Electronics Totally Tech Tour invites kids to interact with the company’s products including the I-Dog a combination electronic pet and music player.
 
The T3 experience takes place in a large branded tent. Kids get game cards when they check out product stations; as they leave the tent they can scan the cards to see if they have won a prize. In addition to the demo stations the exhibit features a stage where breakdancers perform every hour. Adam Biehl the brand’s director-marketing told Buzz the company will measure success of the program based on consumer and media visits and media coverage for the remainder of 2006.
 
The tour kicked off at New York City’s South Street Seaport earlier this month and has also stopped at California’s Santa Monica Pier. It wraps Saturday at Navy Pier in Chicago.
