It’s mid-March in Austin, and that can only mean one thing: the South By Southwest festivals and conferences are back (this year March 10-19), bringing insights on the interactive, film and music industries to the Lone Star State. EM is on the ground scouting out unique activations, taking notes on brand takeovers and eating our weight in tacos. With just a few hours in the trenches, we’re already seeing trends emerging—group VR experiences, rooftop VIP spaces and natural design elements, among them.
