Microsoft is introducing corporate customers to the long-awaited new Windows Vista software and Office 2007 with launch events in 74 cities from January through March.
The events are divided into two tours a Ready for a New Day campaign geared toward larger businesses and Microsoft Across America aimed at small- and medium-sized companies.
Both events will offer Vista and Office product demos Regina Cothran lead marketing manager for Microsoft Across America told Buzz. Attendees can pick the track best suited to their job responsibilities; IT professionals at the Microsoft Across America events for example will hear about features that will help them deploy the software at their companies.
In addition Microsoft is in the midst of a 23-city tour with Intel which started Oct. 24 and will wrap in mid-December. The Ready 2 Rock Road Show held mostly in hotels and conference centers is a series of events offering system builders training on building and selling customized solutions based on Intel’s Core 2 Duo processors Vista and the new Office system.
