As the fashion world steps out of Milan and into Paris, we couldn’t help but notice all the awesome experiential marketing campaigns that we’ve seen the past 3 weeks. Find out how Tommy Hilfiger, Refinery29, and more brought their brands to life.
Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid’s Carnival
The biggest fashion week highlight across the board was Tommy Hilfiger’s collaboration with the biggest model and social media star, Gigi Hadid. The fashion was not the only focus at this show. The show actually took place at Pier 16 at South Street Seaport, rebranded as “the Tommy Pier”. And it wasn’t just a runway and seats, it was everything a fashion carnival should be, complete with food stands, manicure stations, temporary tattoos, games, and rides.
We all can’t be at a fashion show, but we can all experience it. Fashionweekonline.com streamed a number of fashion shows every day from New York, London, Milan, and this week, Paris. Kanye West even streamed his Yeezy Season 4 show on Tidal (of course).
For London Fashion Week, Pandora teamed with Yahoo Storytellers to create a lounge hosted by fashion blogger Lizzy Hadfield. Over 200 fashion and beauty bloggers visited. The event was filmed for content to be featured on Tumblr UK’s dashboard so that fashion bloggers who were not at the event could get a taste of the fun!
