Random House Children’s Books, a division of Penguin Random House, and Momentum Worldwide have teamed up to design and create a fully functional bookstore on wheels for The Story Stop Tour and the Chapter Book Champions Challenge. Craftsmen Industries completed the engineering and fabrication for the open-air unit. 
The fully customized vehicle launched in April at the LA Times Book Festival. The unit includes a large area for book displays, a designated space for local partners to operate point of sale system, a custom area for author book signings and ample room for costume character appearances at family-focused events throughout the country.

Chapter Book Champions is a summer reading initiative from Random House Children’s Books and from their partner, Brightly, encouraging kids (ages 6 – 9) to read and explore chapter book series over the summer months.
The project’s goal is to make it a little easier, and a lot more fun, to raise kids who love to read.
