ABC Family is known for its “25 Days of Christmas” special in December. To take the TV experience and re-create it in a live setting, the network tagged Broadstreet to produce ‘Pop Up Santa’. The initiative gave surprise, delight and amazing gifts to unsuspecting fans during the “25 Days of Christmas” air dates.
Broadstreet popped up at various locales around NYC to shock ABC Family fans and business partners alike. Elves descended upon local restaurants during busy hours to deliver holiday cheer in the form of Beats headphones and Beats Pills, GoPro cameras, Galaxy Tablets and Fitbits Flex Bands.
The unsuspecting gift getters appeared in a video featuring Pop Up Santa footage from around the country that helped lead ABC Family to 45 million social media impressions, as well as positive press in publications such as Ad Age.
