Sonia Andresson-Nolasco

Sonia Andresson-Nolasco is Associate Editor at Event Marketer magazine. She has worked as a journalist at newspapers and magazines for eight years. She is a graduate of New Jersey City University where she developed an interest in journalism as the Arts Editor and Sex Advice Columnist “Dear Sunny” at the school paper. Her history of odd jobs includes hair salon sweeper, ambulance chaser assistant, bank clerk, bridal store helper and nursing home foot massager. Sonia was born in Lisbon, Portugal, grew up in Newark, NJ (big ups to Brick City!), and currently lives in Connecticut with her husband and their 13-year-old Shitzu. She loves watching reruns of the “The Wonder Years” and holds the family record for eating six lobsters in a row.
