Though the Kellogg’s Kidz Kitchen has been going strong for six years as part of The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Fun and Fit as a Family event, the recent news that the cable network will launch a food magazine for kids proves that Kellogg’s was onto something all along.

The first “Superstar Snapshot” activation took place on June 2; there will 12 more throughout the summer.

A&E network History is on the road this summer with its first Cross Country Cookout, a nine-city tour of American festivals featuring the Ultimate Smoker and Grill truck. A barbeque chef helms the truck, which can cook up to 2,000 pounds of BBQ at once.

To help fight childhood hunger in America during the summer months when children aren’t as likely to receive free school lunches, the Arby’s Foundation set out on its Hungry for Happiness Tour in June to distribute Arby’s Kids Meals at local organizations, educate families about summer meals programs in their communities and treat them to carnival-style activities. The tour, which is partnering with local Boys & Girls Clubs in 15 cities through August, is traveling in a fire truck red Arby’s branded truck that serves as the backdrop to the events.
