Canon Hosts Project Imagin8ion Premiere
Canon on Nov. 15 held a red-carpet premiere at New York City’s Museum of Natural History to celebrate the launch of “When You Find Me,” a film inspired by eight winning photos submitted in an online user-generated contest that generated more than 96,000 entries. The film was shot with Canon DSLR products and is a centerpiece in the company’s “Long Live Imagination” campaign, an effort in partnership with Hollywood director Ron Howard. Howard’s daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, directed the 24-minute film.

CAMPER constructs unique presence at Volvo Village
Hip Spanish footwear brand CAMPER this year has taken to the high seas with a sporty red sailing yacht in the Volvo Ocean Race, but for landlubbers and fans of the brand it has created a specially designed round pavilion that can be found in the Race Village at four of the 10 stop-overs on the course. The race began in Alicante, Spain, on November 5 and will continue until early July when it ends in Galway, Ireland.

CNET Takes Holiday Guide Live in NYC
High-tech and experiential trends came together last week in New York City at an interactive pop-up called CNET Gotham: A Live Holiday Guide. Held in the city’s trendy Nolita neighborhood, the five-day pop-up showcased favorite products of the tech media website’s editorial staff. Interactive displays from sponsors Energizer, LG, Canon, Dell and Adobe and were also part of the experience, as well as special programs and evening events.
