How Beverage Culture is Weaving its way into Trade Show Programs

A Watermelon Basil Refresher? A frothy Strawberry Matcha Latte? An… IV? Beverage culture is exploding, and exhibitors are turning to unique hot and cold non-alcoholic sips to deliver deliciousness along with engagement throughout their trade show programs. Here are some of our favorite flavors and activations they powered.

Reddit Conversation Bar

At CES 2026, Reddit built a Conversation Bar filled with products from the brands that advertise on the platform, and invited attendees to enjoy a drink inspired by their personal focus for the year. After choosing Purpose, Energy, Creativity, or Joy, they proceeded to the main lounge area to place an order at the juice bar with a menu rooted in “Fresh-squeezed Reddit Community Intelligence” that ranged from the “Upvote: Vitamin C Citrus Blend” to the “Hot Take Tonic: Pineapple + Cayenne Kick.” Their chosen focus translated to their beverage order—Joy gave us “r/mademesmile: Watermelon Basil Refresher,” which came with a link to a curated Reddit conversation to be enjoyed while sipping, as well as a personalized tumbler.

Café CISCO

Coffee bars are a staple of trade show floors, but not all of them are created equally. At HIMSS 25, CISCO blended its tech skills with baristaing for delicious branded drinks that drove the message of connectivity and care. Attendees scanned a QR code and texted “coffee” to place an order for their branded oatmeal latte, enjoying a digital customer journey with a caffeine boost.

Oatly

If you’ve never elbowed your way for a sample or a better shot, you haven’t tried to score a Melon Matcha at the House of Oatly at Natural Products Expo West 2026. From Pear & Cardamom Thai Tea to Strawberry Matcha Lattes, the brand showcased its non-dairy products as a base for creative expression and what’s next in beverage culture. Baristas worked non-stop to keep those samples going, and the cameras rolled for that social content that only a conveyor belt of deliciousness can bring.

Twilio Cafe

A cloud comms company, Twilio partnered with a local Las Vegas Brew Tea Bar for the Twilio Cafe during HIMSS26. To highlight the simplicity of its product, the brand invited attendees to place their order by texting or WhatsApp and pick from a selection of boba teas, infused with fruits and honey or a creamy milk slush drizzled with brown sugar.

Disco IV Lounge

Walking around with a nice drink might just sound perfect, but what about getting your hydration intravenously? Disco, a post-purchase ad network, built a captive audience at Shoptalk 25 with an IV Lounge designed to provide recovery for attendees and revenue for their businesses—perfect for a conference in Las Vegas. Turns out, for some companies, the fastest way to fill the pipeline was with an IV drip.
