  • Planters Nutmobile Spreads Sustainability Message

    Planters is crossing the country this spring and summer in a brand-new mobile vehicle called the Nutmobile, a 25-foot 2011 Isuzu Series NPR truck that runs on biodiesel, is powered by solar panels and a wind turbine and features flooring made from reclaimed wood (Build: Turtle Transit, Lancaster, MA). The Naturally Remarkable Tour kicked off Feb. 23 and is visiting 16 cities through August where the brand will sample its products and spread its eco-friendly message.

  • Keds Reaches out to Millennials with Arts-Inspired Mobile Tour

     Keds in March rolled out a nine-city “How Do You Do?” mobile tour to introduce its iconic footwear to the Millennial generation. Besides touting its shoes, the tour connects with college students through creativity and art, showcasing the local arts scene at each stop. The tour launched March 18 at Style X at SXSW in Austin and concludes May 7 in Boston and will hit colleges and universities along the way. Online elements include a Keds website, twitter handle and Facebook page.

  • BlackBerry Takes SmartTour to Construction Industry

    RIM on Feb. 14 rolled out a 10-week mobile SmartBuilder for BlackBerry tour targeting owners of small- to medium-sized businesses. Among the stops was ConExpo-Con/Agg, the construction trade show held in Las Vegas March 22 to 26, where its mobile devices and services were on display on a small van pulled by a shiny black electric car.
