Delta Dugout Scores a Run
Delta Airlines from June 18 to 20 activated Delta Dugout, an interactive experience for baseball fans at New York City’s Madison Square Park. The three-day event coincided with the interleague series between the Yankees and Mets known as the Subway Series and featured player appearances, baseball themed activities, live games and giveaways.

Sensodyne Dental Health Spa Hits the Highways
GlaxoSmithKline’s Sensodyne brand is on the road for 23 weeks this summer, bringing an educational message about dental health to 11 high-traffic festival and fair events from May to October. It is traveling in a custom gooseneck trailer staffed by dental hygienists who will meet one-on-one with consumers to answer questions and offer advice about how to prevent future problems.

Bavaria’s infamous orange dress bleacher stunt pushes the limits of ambush marketing
Surprise stunts and guerrilla marketing campaigns can spark a media firestorm, but sometimes it can also get you burned. In 2006, when the Cartoon Network set out to promote “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” with a 10-market ambush marketing effort, the company never could have imagined the publicity the stunt would generate. It also couldn’t have imagined the $2 million penalty it ended up paying to Boston-area authorities after placing black boards with blinking lights depicting the show’s “Mooninites” characters in high-trafficked areas.

Kenmore Makes Gallery Brand New
Kenmore is revamping its image with a new logo, product line and website to connect with today’s consumer. As part of an integrated marketing campaign, the 90-year-old brand is stepping out of Sears stores and into a former art gallery it has transformed into the Kenmore Live Studio, where it showcases new products and delivers top-notch experiences that are streamed live on facebook.com/kenmore.
