Method Rolls Out ‘Laundry Smarts’ Campaign
Eco-friendly home care company Method on May 13 launched “Laundry Smarts,” the second phase of a campaign designed to raise awareness for its new laundry detergent, which hit shelves earlier this year. The program combines an interactive mobile clothing donation truck in New York City with several digital elements including a microsite and video launched last week on laundrysmarts.com, where visitors can take a laundry quiz, read and share tips, as well as enter a sweepstakes to win a Whirlpool Brand washer and dryer and year’s supply of Method Laundry Detergent.

U.S. Air Force Brings Its Jobs to Life Inside High-tech Tour
To demystify its often sci-fi-like job descriptions, the United States Air Force is bringing to life its “It’s Not Science Fiction” campaign inside a 6,400 square-foot Command Center Alpha augmented reality tour. Potential recruits are immersed in a cutting-edge 3D setting inside a 53-foot trailer divided into three experiences, which include video, audio and downloadable information on all aspects of the U.S. Air Force.

El Jimador Sets Loose on Manhattan
As part of a strategy to personify its brand in a fun and realistic way on an important Mexican holiday, tequila brand el Jimador on Cinco de Mayo unleashed 100 brand ambassadors dressed as jimadores (those who harvest the agave plants needed to make tequila) through the streets of Manhattan. The number of jimadores is a reference to the el Jimadore’s tagline, “100% Agave, 100% Real.”
