  • EMS 2012: Nightlife With A Twist

    Michelle Klein, vp-content, digital and communications at Diageo, whose Smirnoff brand received an Ex Award at the 10th annual Event Marketing Summit’s awards gala on April 30 for its Nightlife Exchange Project, wowed the crowd earlier in the day as the opening keynote speaker at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Chicago (sponsored by Fish Technologies).
    Describing the Nightlife Exchange Project as the “sweetspot” between digital and physical, Klein explained how she harnessed the online community to create an event that on Nov. 27 took place in 50 countries.

  • DuraZone Tour Offers Family-Friendly Activities

    To generate awareness for the launch of its new weed and grass-killing product DuraZone, Bayer Advanced is visiting home improvement stores and family-friendly events in 10 markets through June 17 with the DuraZone Own Your Zone tour. The tour kicked off April 13 at the Maricopa County Fair in Phoenix, AZ, where it engaged consumers via a series of themed zones within its 40-foot by 40-foot space that tie back to the brand’s message that using DuraZone gives consumers back more of their time to enjoy the zones outside of their house.

  • Broadway Nails Sets Out To ‘imPRESS’

    Broadway Nails is activating the second phase of a two-pronged tour on the streets and in malls with an expanded sampling campaign to promote its imPRESS press-on manicure sets among young women ages 15 to 25. Broadway Nails, a subsidiary of Long Island-based Kiss Nails, sells the product in chain drug stores and discount retailers, such as Walgreens and Walmart.
