Target Rolls Out Pop-Up Makeover Stations
Target this fall is promoting the redesign of its beauty department with a mobile pop-up tour where consumers receive touch-ups and make-up tips, free samples and coupons good toward product purchases. The revamped beauty departments received improved lighting, testers and other shopping tools as part of a $1 billion remodeling project across the stores that was announced last year.

Dial for Men Gets Dirty… and Clean
It all started on Facebook, and ended in Granby, CO, at the C Lazy U ranch from Aug. 26 to 28, where Dial for Men created Camp Dirt, a weekend of fun and filth designed to exemplify the brand’s mission inviting men to “Get your dirt on. We'll get it off.” The social media-driven sweepstakes invited men to enter on the brand’s page for a chance to compete for a $10,000 prize for the dirtiest camper.

SodaStream Creates Waste-filled Cage
This month, at-home soda maker brand SodaStream is circling New York City with a 12-foot by six-foot cage atop a trailer filled with empty soda cans and water bottles equaling the average five-year waste of a family of four. The vehicle is part of SodaStream’s integrated sampling and social media campaign to get consumers excited about its soda maker as a gift for the holidays. The brand sets up a tent where it demonstrates how to use the machine and then has consumers taste the final product with the waste-filled cage in the backdrop.
