Samsung Dodgeball Has Players Buzzing About its Newest Phone
Samsung Mobile on May 12 broke the Guinness World Record for the largest game of dodgeball. The athletic event, held at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York City, engaged 712 players, 262 more than the previous record held by San Diego State University. The game celebrated the recent launch of the Samsung Reality handset, a smartphone with multiple messaging options and easy access to popular social networking sites.

Adult Swim Takes its Tour Strategy from Day to Night
Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim College Carnival Tour this year has evolved from a daytime on-campus event to a multi-night engagement platform. Now in its third year, the tour is hitting nine campuses from April to May, and picks up again June 10 at Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN. Rather than engaging students between classes, the new strategy allows the network to interact with more than 2,000 students each night.

Method Rolls Out ‘Laundry Smarts’ Campaign
Eco-friendly home care company Method on May 13 launched “Laundry Smarts,” the second phase of a campaign designed to raise awareness for its new laundry detergent, which hit shelves earlier this year. The program combines an interactive mobile clothing donation truck in New York City with several digital elements including a microsite and video launched last week on laundrysmarts.com, where visitors can take a laundry quiz, read and share tips, as well as enter a sweepstakes to win a Whirlpool Brand washer and dryer and year’s supply of Method Laundry Detergent.
