Netflix Turns a Full City Block into '70s Manhattan
It takes a village to pull off a successful brand activation, and in the case of Netflix, that village was Manhattan's Little Italy. In an elaborate stunt to promote "The Irishman," a film now streaming on the service about the disappearance of union boss Jimmy Hoffa, Netflix took over a full block and enlisted 11 local businesses to give away free food and services.
