Tuesday’s L.A. premiere of “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” stirred up controversy among the dance community. A journalist’s TikTok of tattooed ballerinas with bloody pointe shoes posing on the carpet went viral, and users went off, pointing out that they were models doing ballet, rather than actual dancers. No confirmation on this, but it just goes to show that consumers are paying attention to every little detail.
