Artificial intelligence tools are fueling streamlined networking at b-to-b events, but the rules of human engagement still apply, as the producers of Gamescom learned this month.
The show’s app “spammed” attendees with AI-generated automatic meetings with matches based on “profile similarities” that they had to manually decline to remove from their schedules. One attendee called the feature “heinous” as it was quickly deactivated.
