Tradition-rich trade shows are evolving alongside their exhibitors who are leaning into experiential. The 80-year-old National Hardware Show will rebrand next year to NHS Concept to Commerce and incorporate hands-on learning and innovation, according to Lauren Csire, marketing director at RX Global.
Features of the show program include a full go-to-market simulation, where attendees can create a CAD product model, transform the design into a prototype with 3D technology, take a virtual factory tour of the production process, and then participate in a creative branding workshop powered by AI.
This month, we zero in on in-booth innovation tactics that are helping exhibitors transport and inspire attendees in low-pressure yet highly customized environments, from forest retreats to AI agents assisting with lead gen on the show floor.
