It’s a fine year to be in the event biz, according to the 2025 Global Forecast from Amex GBT Meetings & Events. The report revealed that 66% of meetings profs expect budgets to increase in 2025, along with a strong focus on hosting internal events, with 43% calling it their organization’s most frequent meeting type. But with rising costs and an uncertain economy to consider, marketers indicated they’ll be more selective about where they hold such meetings. Have we entered a new era of venue-scouting? Time (and tariffs) will tell.
