Fuse Communications Plan

Our mission is to create exceptional experiences every day for our clients, their brands, our people, and ourselves. The objectives of our clients guide us in all the work that we do as we strive to improve and evolve the way people and organizations communicate.

Fuse, the television network dedicated exclusively to all things music, has partnered with Broadstreet for several years to shape their annual Upfront strategy. Competing for advertiser budgets as an up-and-coming network means Fuse always needs to maximize the value of its Upfront communications. Broadstreet conducted research of media buyers which revealed that this audience really enjoyed presentations delivered in a more personal nature.

This information coincided with multiple technology stories within the content Fuse was planning to present. For example, Fuse announced a brand new daily studio show in partnership with Twitter. Delivering a Keynote via iPad was the perfect way to allow sales reps to show up differently while aligning with the technology-heavy content of the presentation. The tablet presentation created a more intimate event with smaller audiences and for larger ones the presenter would be able to walk around freely – allowing for deeper engagement.

In addition to designing their presentation in a more creative fashion, Broadsteet provided training, logistical, and tech support. We also wrote the presentation script and designed and delivered a printed scratch-off game allowing people in the audience to potentially win prizes.

Fuse reported this was their most successful Communications Plan yet, with audiences from all agencies giving them props for delivering a visually stunning presentation that was both informative and entertaining.
