To spread the word about Sorian, its comprehensive healthcare information system, at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society show, Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services decided to show attendees just how the network could make life easier for hospital patients. The presentation let guests literally walk through the “journey” of how a patient with a fractured hip would proceed in a medical center, and how Siemens technology could help streamline the process. Participants received notebook PCs before the presentation so they could follow along, and exhibit spaces focusing on categories like clinical care and financial information demonstrated how the technology helps improve communication, workflow and collaboration among hospital departments.

The exhibit helped the brand gather 1,022 qualified leads (about double the previous year’s take), with 94 percent of visitors surveyed saying their experience resulted in a positive opinion of the brand, and 81 percent saying they were more inclined to purchase.
