Oneworld needed to inform its frequent fliers about what the brand does for them every day, so the company set up a series of Travel Stations at key airports across Europe from September to December. The installations offered free travel-related lifestyle content and information about Oneworld to business and leisure travelers via surface computing touchscreen technology.

Travelers could use the stations to access data and download information, including language guides and audio casts, to their own devices. There were tips and advice, developed in partnership with Lonely Planet, on where to sleep, what to eat, where to relax, what to see and how to do business at 28 of the world’s most popular destinations—all of which could be reached by flying Oneworld member airlines. To drive more traffic to the Travel Stations and reinforce the Oneworld branding of the airport terminals, the company also installed charging stations.
