Cisco Staff Offers Booth Tours to Key Executives
At the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s event last February in Orlando, FL, Cisco strategized for increased sales by integrating the internal marketing, sales and executive teams to activate deeper touch marketing opportunities. Cisco sent 14 senior sales executives and several business and technology experts to bring target executives through the interactive booth activities, including a theater-style presentation of a “Hospital of the Future” film, and VIP nurse and physician sessions to educate influencers about Cisco technology and its potential for their work.
The action wasn’t only on the show floor, though. Outside the booth, Cisco sponsored: a networking dinner for 300 customers; the first HIMSS-Cisco Community for Connected Health Summit, which showcased Cisco technology at work in a next-generation healthcare setting and netted 250 attendees; the HIMSS Leadership Survey physician and nursing symposiums; and a Healthcare Sales Summit with 125 executives responsible for the technology purchases in their organizations.
