NatGeo’s ‘Escape The Cold’ Activation at SXSW

What is it like living day-to-day in the remote Alaskan wilderness? Those at South by Southwest in Austin March 14-16 got a little taste of it thanks to National Geographic Channel, which promoted the season premiere of hits series “Life Below Zero” with a chilly activation. Groups of six participants at a time entered one of three authentic arctic domes to take a series of challenges testing their cold-weather survival skills (AWESTRUCK Marketing Group, handled). One of the show’s stars Sue Aikens was also on hand to offer some guidance. A rustic lounge setting made for extended engagements, as well. Take a look at the scene, below.
