Event Tours: SunnyD Adds New Elements To Road Trip

In the second year of its Summer 4Ever Road Trip Sunny Delight Beverages’ Sunny D brand has added a few new elements to the program. Most notably the brand has replaced last year’s brand-wrapped ice cream trucks with fully restored and customized 1960s-era Volkswagen buses. The buses are designed to evoke the nostalgia of 1964—the year that SunnyD was introduced to the market.
 
 “The [brand] really comes to life with the new vintage vehicles ” Jennifer Cottle brand manager for SunnyD told Buzz.
 
Another new addition? Sport stacking the activity that has participants competitively stacking cups in pre-determined sequences and is credited with improving hand-eye coordination. The brand partnered with Speed Stacks the official supplier of the World Sport Stacking Association to bring the activity to consumers on the tour.
 
The family-focused tour will once again offera variety of games and prizes plus samples of SunnyD of course. A microsite designed to complement the tour—summer4ever.com—allows consumers to check out the Road Trip map request an appearance by the Sunmobile when it hits their city register to win prizes and learn more about sport stacking.
