Chrysler is partnering with theme park company Six Flags in an effort to give consumers one-on-one experiences with its Chrysler Jeep and Dodge vehicles. Chrysler will have a significant presence at 10 Six Flag theme parks this summer and will add more parks in 2009. Additionally Chrysler Jeep and Dodge vehicles will become the “official vehicles” of the parks.
On-site activation varies by park but includes interactive vehicle displays ride-and-drives in-park marketing a sweepstakes and dealer and employee ticket discounts. Six Flag Media Networks which includes TV radio billboards experiential marketing on-line and signage also promotes the partnership and the vehicles.
All 10 parks participated in a July 4 celebration featuring fireworks sponsored by the 2009 Dodge Journey. The Best of Texas Festival in September at Six Flags over Texas in Arlington TX will showcase the 2009 Dodge Ram. A special military appreciation month in the fall will include a giveaway at all participating parks.
