Campaign: Low Voltage Drives Tour
Client: ABB
Agency: EEI Global
To diversify its client base and maximize ROI on its long-running Low Voltage Tour ABB rebuilt and redesigned it in 2008 to be bigger and more interactive than ever.
The company invited 12 000 key prospects to come to one of 674 events and test out the products first hand. Live demos included: The AC/DC Dynamometer which showed off the performance capabilities of ABB Drives; the Triplex Pump station which showcased ABB’s ability to control all aspects of a complex pumping application; the Energy Savings demo which highlighted its sustainable fan and pump applications; the Conveyor Demo a working conveyor line featuring material handling and automation solutions; and an Ethernet IP and Profibus solutions station and Low Voltage products area which included push buttons disconnect switches and pilot devices.
ABB was on the road working five days a week on two simultaneous trailer tours for 557 days of outreach. The tour’s big takeaway: More than 11 000 one-to-one interactions.
