CAMPAIGN: One Campus Challenge
CLIENT: One
AGENCY: A Squared Group
To educate and engage college students about how they can help end global poverty hunger and disease the One Challenge Campaign hit campuses nationwide to see which school could put in place policy changing actions to aid in the cause. The winning school was rewarded with a free on-campus rock concert.
The One Campus Challenge was comprised of weekly challenges like Best One T-shirt Design and Best Educational Video. Weekly challenge winners received a Surprise and Delight award like pizza parties and concert tickets. Plus each campus had the chance to be included in the Power 100 Summit a mid-year incentive for the Top 100 Schools. Leading colleges could send a member to represent their school at the three-day all expenses paid conference featuring poverty experts politicians and thought leaders like Newt Gingrich and CNN’s Paul Begala.
During the seven-month campaign more than 25 000 students participated in the One Campus Challenge. By the end of the campaign more than 182 000 actions to end poverty had been completed.
